Nice to return to the office today following my triumphant turn roasting the turkey, making the stuffing, and conjuring up the gravy for my family's Thanksgiving celebration.  My family claims to be unsurprised that I roasted the turkey upside down, saying that the offbeat and the silly are my natural inclinations.  Given that two of my favorite Blue Apple books are THE BOOK THAT ZACK WROTE (by Ethan Long) and A DAY IN THE OFFICE OF DOCTOR BUGSPIT (a Balloon Toons title by Elise Gravel), I suppose it is possible that they may be right. The bird and the books? Totally scrumptious!
